Mermen are the male counterparts of mermaids. A merman is a creature with the lower body of a fish and the upper of a human. They are much like mermaids. Both, are very good swimmers, better than some animals and much better than humans. Do to a lifetime of swimming, merman have a very well built body, not very muscular but somewhat of it.
